Adam Shortell arrived on time and was very helpful. He did a very thourough job explaining the process and what to expect. he knew what he was talking about and assisted me with filing a claim and helping me understand my policy and what exactly insurance may cover. My dogs loved him as well. i knew i could trust him and the company. they did a very fair price and helped me with over 1000$ in savings. I used my insurance and they still gave me a very large fair discount. i had a sewer backup and Adam was very honest about my insurance having a cap on coverage of 5k. i would reccomend them to my friends and family.
I cannot say enough good things about the water mitigation team, which I will get too. However I have had a horrible experience with the restoration team. DO NOT use the restoration services at Dry Force. The communication with the restoration team has been horrible. They don’t come and work on the days they say and show up on days we aren’t expecting them. The project leader (Frank) was coming for a final walk through when a whole bathroom had not been started. And the quality of work is sub par. We have had to communicate and have them come back and fix work they did because it was not to pre-loss condition. Mathew seems like a general handy man not an expert in any of the services we’ve needed. The insurance covered detach and reset baseboard. But the workers lifted up the baseboards and caucked over it, only after we pointed it out. They left at least one inch gaps in our door jams. They came back and “fixed” it, (put caucking) still looks horrible and will cause problems down the line. This work has taken over a month and now we have not heard from them in a week despite me reaching out on an estimated completion date or atleast the next time they will be working on our home. Attached pictures to illustrate the “repairs.” The water mitigation team was AMAZING. They worked quickly and called us everyday to update us on the progress of the drying. Their documentation was impeccable and got our insurance to cover everything we needed. They really fight for you!
The team was at the house within an hour after my call and had a plan and equipment ready to deploy for our water damage very quickly. O appreciate the rapid response and for easy to understand explanations on what will happen to repair our home. Dave was very thorough and I appreciated his handling of our situation.
