Restoration 1 of North Atlanta was hired in 2022 for water damage mitigation and reconstruction throughout my home, including LVP flooring installation. Within 9 months, the flooring began buckling, warping, and separating from the subfloor, with visible gaps and uneven seams throughout — not normal wear, but a workmanship issue. Regarding the company's response to this review: the flooring was selected on their recommendation, as the contractor with the expertise on the job — not chosen by me against their advice. I have text records confirming this. Their response also claims they sent a representative to inspect the flooring. No one was ever sent to my home to inspect it. I have my full text and call records for this project and there is no record of any inspection visit taking place. I also have text records showing that when I reported the problem, they said they would send someone to repair it. No repair was ever made. After that, they stopped responding to calls, texts, and emails. When I did reach someone, they were dismissive rather than helpful. I also have documentation showing a significant discrepancy between what was billed to my insurance company for the flooring materials and what was actually spent on the product installed — which may help explain why the flooring itself was inadequate for the space. If you're considering this company, I'd recommend getting everything in writing — especially material recommendations and any promises about repairs.

Nathan and Miguel were excellent communicators about the process of demolishing my soaked condo ceiling following a pipe freeze flood. They were always prompt at any time of day over call or text, and sent updates to both me and the other owner of the abode. They also had great personality which encouraged me to go with them after the initial quote, because they were genuine, knowledgeable, and friendly. God forbid I need it, I would go with these guys again.

Even though today is just day #1 of the process, I could not be any happier or more satisfied than I am already. From Lukas coming to assess, to Ricky & his assistant, Biden (?)..everything has been top notch, AAA+ with the entire process thus far. I don’t foresee it being any different when the end approaches. I would/will aBsOluTely refer them to anyone in need of water restoration.
