1-800 Water Damage of Hayward and Dublin, CAWater Damage Restoration in Hayward, CA

Recently I had a plumbing problem which caused a partial flood of sewage water in my a floor of my an inlaw unit of my house. When figuring out restoration companies and filing an insurance claim, I called several companies through a keyword search. Many of the companies said they didn't have anyone available, and 1-800 WATER DAMAGE was out of the first to respond. I didn't know 1-800 WATER DAMAGE are franchises of a larger company, but so far I had a good first impression. They sent one of their Project Managers Angel Torres to do an assessment. He came when he said would, was very friendly and explained things in a clear manner. After they sent a quote, I felt comfortable proceeding with them. Before an insurance adjuster could do their assessment, Angel came before to setup high grade dehumidifiers and air filters and do a hard surface cleaning. Angel also offered to be around with when the insurance adjuster came in case there were any questions he could help offer, I don't know if that's a common practice but Angel seemed sincere. Angel was very thorough in documenting/phographing every part of the process. He also offered to talk and explain things with my tenant, which I know helped put my tenant's mind at ease, most times the vendor doesn't bother talking to the tenants and leaves that to the owner/landlord to do, so my impression is that was above and beyond. Angel estimated the job would take 4-7 business days, I think his team did it in 5. While I'm sure they probably deal with bigger scale jobs than mine, Angel and his team were very responsive to my needs and my tenant's needs. Very good experience, although I really hope I don't have to need their services again.. at least for a long long while.

I cannot recommend 1800WD highly enough! We came home from vacation to a terrible smell from a leak in our sink, we have a toddler so we were pretty worried about mold. From dispatch to consultation with Angel, our amazing specialist, I knew we were in good hands. His expertise, kindness, honesty, and skill are unmatched. He and his crew handled the disaster promptly. We even left our house in his hands when we went out of town. I don’t think I would do that with anybody else! If you are ever concerned about mold or Water Damage, dont hesitate. Not only did they vacuum seal and meticulously clean every detail, they tested for mold all around our house and located water issues in our babies’s room AND even handled a rodent issue.
