Total RestoreSmoke Damage Restoration in Renton, WA

TLDR: Total Restore shows up on time, when they say they will. They are professional, clean and respectful. They do the work they say they are going to do, and communicates through the whole process. Not sure what else you can ask for... Our main waterline broke Sunday night, by the time I shut off the water to the house, there was 1/2" of standing water over our entire kitchen/dining room (wood floors). After soaking up the water with every towel in our neighborhood, we called a plumber Monday morning at 8am. Total Restore was recommended by them as a great water damage mitigation company. The plumber informed Total Restore of my situation and about 15min later I received a call from Chuck. Chuck explained the process over the phone, some of the risks and benefits of getting mitigation started immediately vs waiting a few days, etc. He offered a no stress, no commitment estimate over the phone which we agreed on, and he was in the car 20min later driving to my house. He took water saturation readings with his tools, along with infrared camera pictures which he forwarded to my insurance to show the scale of the damage. He even went into the crawlspace himself and pulled down saturated insulation to reduce water/wood contact as soon as possible. Later that day (still Monday, the day after the break), a team lead by Dylan arrived with de-humidifiers, large fans, and 'suction mats' to remove as much moisture from the floors and space as possible. They left them running in our home for a few days, coming to check the moisture content/see any improvement each day after that. After a few days when it was determined the damage was irreparable, Dylan and a crew came back to begin the crawl space mitigation work: replacing ducting, vapor barriers, and spraying everything with anti-microbial. A team led by Christian arrived a day after to begin demolition of our wood floors, cabinets and saturated sheetrock, which took a couple of days total. Chuck and his team has been in contact with my insurance every step of the way, sending pictures and ensuring they are taking every step necessary. While I 'backed' into this company in a time of need and didn't actually search them out, I can say I have been 100% satisfied with their work to date and would recommend them to anyone in similar situations.

Anton and his team invested the time, going back and forth with our insurance to ensure that our home was brought back to our pre-flood condition. They do quality work and are great to work with. We highly recommend!
