Troy and his team, Vincent and Montell, truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect in the midst of some water damage we had in our kitchen. They took the time to put zip walls, wrapped everything up to protect all of our belongings, were amazing at following up and with communication, and were above all just really pleasant to work with and have in our home. They were also really great about communication with our stubborn insurance and providing awesome documentation throughout the entire process as well. They showed up every day with really awesome attitudes, were sweet to our dogs, and worked really hard! I can’t recommend Troy, his team, and Paul David Restoration enough.

Someone from Paul Davis came to give me an estimate and said it would be $2,500 at the very most. A few days later, 2 gentleman showed up and “cleaned” the floors all day. They said they came to clean mold, but I needed to correct them that it was pet urine and filth, not mold. They said ok. I took the day off of work to be there. They said they were finished and left with the floors still wet, so I couldn’t tell what they would look like once dry. Once dry, there were several spots of an oily residue and still filth. I sent pictures to confirm it was soap and they confirmed it it was. I cleaned it up myself because it did smell better, but looked awful. Then I got a bill for over $6,000. Wait. What?! I reached out about the invoice being almost $4,000 more than we agreed to and they assured me it would be fixed. It took over a week to get a corrected invoice. Having a bill of that amount sitting over my head was stressful! In the meantime, I sent other Paul Davis staff the pictures of what the floors looked like. They offered to come fix it, but I had already cleaned it up myself and was unable to take another day off of work, regardless. They still charged me the “max” amount of $2,500 for the awful job they did. Fine, I paid it. I just wanted to be done with it. Well, about a month later, I get another invoice in the mail for the over $6,000. I am not sure who all of the people are that have given this company a great review because I would never recommend them to anyone. I have attached pictures of my “clean” floors. What a mess.

Words cannot express the gratitude my family has for Paul Restoration of Richmond. In short suspense, Mrs. Amy Dixon and her upmost professional crew members Page, Jamal, Riddel, Roster and Mikele, relieved me of the stress that I honestly thought couldn’t get done in such a short time. Mrs. Amy consistently stay in communication with me to arrange times and dates for the mediation team and the restoration team to come restore a wall and carpet that was badly damaged by water from a water main break. The consideration and respect they showed for my home and items in my home was nothing less than phenomenal. They moved the items out, repaired and replaced the damaged concerns, then moved my items back into place exactly where I had them originally. I did not have to lift one finger and yet I am beyond satisfied and amazed at the results. I wholeheartedly recommend this outstanding and professional supportive team to any one that needs their home to feel like their home again after a tragedy has happened.
