I had a nasty roof leak in my brand new house (circa 2021), after a full roof replacement in 2023. The leak affected the master bathroom and the kid's room closet. I set on to find the company to do the cleanup (mitigation) and restoration. I did several inquiries with different water damage restoration companies, some didn't respond, some others wanted me to assess the damage and send them pictures, and couple of other contractors came out to look at the damage in person, but did not come across as professionals and were vague about the specifics of what needs to be done and tried to inflate the cost upfront without knowing what's behind the walls. Let me tell you that Joel and his team were the most diligent and professional team I had seen. They set up the work area with covers so no dust would escape the perimeter. There were lots of items I was worried about like my granite countertops, cabinetry and the mirrors in the bathroom that they saved while doing the demolition. Everything was carefully wrapped preserved and moved out of the way. I had to work from home that day and the team was working quickly without making any mess or undue noise. They earned my trust and for the remaining days I left the keys with them, because I needed to be absent from home. They finished everything on time as promised and left the area clean and dry, ready for the restoration to begin. Once the walls were taken out it became evident what caused the leak and that was addressed separately.
