We had a flooded basement from a recent storm, which is the second time it’s happened in the last couple of years since we’ve lived in this house. The first time around, the companies we had out were very pushy about trying to file an insurance claim basically so they could have a blank check to do more work than necessary. DryMedic was the opposite and tries to limit cost as much as possible and luckily our repair didn’t reach a threshold where it made since to file a claim. This time around, DryMedic was very forthright / honest about what truly needed to be done. They tried to save carpet and drywall and only removed sections that were absolutely necessary. The crew they sent out were very friendly and professional. They kept us updated in real time on any issues that were identified. They also took extra precaution by laying floor protection throughout the entry way, down the stairs, into the basement to protect floors and keep them clean. They showed up first thing each morning to check the drying status and we just felt like they were very on top of things. It was a much better experience than the previous time.
