"People Before Profit", Tri-County All Restorations' philosophy. Just words to some, but this company lives by them. However, there are no words to describe how wonderful the owners and technicians from Tri-County are. Gary Ackel, the owner, came out personally with his assistant estimator, Chris, to look at and assess the multiple problems we had. In a world where many people would charge an exorbitant amount of money, it was unbelievable how honest this gentleman was. His charges were way under the other two quotes we had received and you could tell he truly cared about us and our situation. I also spoke to his wife, Kim, who also manages the office. She was so kind and empathetic to what we were going through. Her cheerfulness and friendly personality was just what I needed when I was emotionally overwhelmed. As for the mold restoration, the technicians that came out, Matt and Francisco, were also friendly and courteous. They both worked incredibly hard and did an excellent job, attending to every minute detail. They worked behind containment barriers, protecting the rest of the house from mold spores and drywall dust. They even provided us with pictures of the damage they found and what they did to correct it. Matt explained things and gave us some very useful tips. He also discovered a bubble in the laminate flooring and brought it to our attention, concerned it was from moisture under our flooring. (We only knew about mold on our ceiling.) I didn't want to believe it, but the 3rd party mold inspector saw it too, did his testing, and the mold inspection for that room failed, proving Matt's observation to be correct. There was moisture under the laminate. Matt returned immediately on a Saturday with Bill, and they pulled the whole flooring up, more mold and moisture, as he had anticipated. They recleaned the entire room and a few days later we passed inspection. I have never seen a company care so much, every one of them!!
