RUN! Do yourself a favor and check the Better Business Bureau site and check google or any other site to see the companies' reviews. You don't have to just take my word for it; the customers are speaking out. This company has a reputation for overcharging and inflating prices, especially when insurance is involved. They recently tore out two of my bathrooms without authorization, then claimed they left due to structural damage—damage they only “found” after demolishing my bathrooms without permission. That excuse is just a cover-up for what they did. If you need work done on your home, don’t make the same mistake I did. Check Google reviews, the BBB, social media, and thoroughly vet these companies. They’re crooks who will overcharge and take advantage of you. We’ve contacted the owners multiple times, so I feel it’s my duty to warn future clients about their predatory practices. The great thing about the internet is that word travels fast, and I plan to use every bit of it until the owners admit their wrongdoing and make things right. I’ve included a picture of how they left my home—did I mention this all started from a busted pipe? I welcome the owners to publicly explain exactly when we authorized them to do this work, and when they reached out to us to say this is what we recommend because privately, they have yet to make sense of it. Look how these great guys left an unauthorized work site with kids in the home. BILL or SAM whoever is responding no I won't take anything DOWN BUT SINCE YOU WOULD LIKE TO MAKE EVERYONE BELIEVE IM LYING THIS IS WHAT THEY CAN DO. EVERYONE READING MY COMMENT YOU DONT HAVE TO TAKE MY WORD FOR IT AT ALL, READ ALL OF THEIR REVIEWS ACROSS ALL PANELS, YELP, GOOGLE, BBB, CHECK WITH THE MICHIGAN ATTORNEY GENERAL OFFICE, CHECK WITH FACEBOOK, INSTAGRAM, AND TIK TOK. TRUST ME YOU WILL SEE FROM TONS OF PEOPLE EXPRESSING THE SAME AS ME OR WORSE. UNFOURTUNATELY I WAS IN A DESPERATE SITUATION AND COULD NOT DO MY RESEARCH ON THE COMPANY BEFORE WORKING WITH THEM. PLEASE DO YOUR RESEARCH.

I called Roto-Rooter during a plumbing emergency, and while they responded quickly and got someone out promptly (which I appreciated), the professionalism of the technician left a lot to be desired. The technician, Austin B. arrived on time and ultimately completed the job, but several interactions during the visit were surprising and unprofessional. Upon opening my 8-year-old son’s bathroom toilet, he immediately exclaimed “Oh gross” loudly. Considering he was there to address a plumbing issue, that seemed like an odd reaction. Also, yes… he’s 8… Throughout the service call, he repeatedly mentioned “needing a cigarette” and brought up his “road beer,” which he described as root beer mixed with liquor because he doesn’t like the taste of beer. He also made it well known that he’d have accepted one of the hard ciders sitting in my kitchen if I had offered one. After the service; When his card reader wouldn’t connect, I offered to let him follow me to an ATM. He said that wasn’t really allowed, so my wife left to get cash from the bank instead. While waiting, he commented about getting a few hands of poker in and then pulled out his phone and started playing poker in my kitchen, not a full hand even just really wanted to talk poker? Very confusing stuff, To be fair, the drain was cleared and the problem was resolved. The company’s response time and scheduling were great, which tells me management is probably doing things too notch. But the technician’s behavior was not what I’d expect from someone representing a professional service company in a customer’s home, maybe dial it back and stick to the task at hand. The whole experience was worth a laugh afterward, but it wasn’t a particularly professional one. Had it been my wife home alone dealing with it, slightly different story.

Paid $79 for a “service call” that amounted to the plumber looking at the manufacture date on my water heater and leaving. No diagnostic work was performed no panels opened, no elements checked, no troubleshooting. When I explained that I needed a professional assessment to determine which component was failing, I was questioned by manager over the phone about whether I planned to use another company for repairs, which was inappropriate and irrelevant. I hired them for a diagnosis, not a calendar lookup. They refused a refund, calling it a “travel fee” rather than a service fee which feels like wordplay to avoid responsibility. If you need an actual diagnostic evaluation, be aware that you may not get one here.
