I don' have anything positive to say about SWBNO!! Straight trash!! Billing, customer service, promise pay, all entities of this company is garbarge!! I have had countless disputes battling this company for many years for overcharging me for water bills. My highest bill I had from them was over $13,000 over 10 years ago! I'm currently experiencing a $3,777 at a home i just moved in 6 months ago. Like how is it EVERY home I've moved to in New Orleans over the past 10 years have extremely high water bills? I have gotten multiple plumbers to check for leaks and no leaks are found on any of the properties. I'm so over these ppl at SWBNO! Something has to be done about the thievery that's taking place with our water bills in the city of New Orleans. RIDICULOUS!!
We submitted a request for a recycling container 2.5 weeks ago that hasn't been responded to yet. I called to check on the status of the request and was told it would take 6-8 weeks to get a recycling container. It is not acceptable to wait 2 months for a recycling container to utilize a service we pay for.
It’s insane that water costs more than electricity and gas combined in New Orleans. Constant water meter leaks, and good luck getting reimbursed for a leak that’s literally the sewage and water board’s fault. They take 1–3 months to fix a leaking meter, then refuse to take accountability for the massive bills people get stuck with. Who can afford a $700 water bill for one person living in a single house?!. No wonder landlords force their tenants to pay for the water. They don’t disclose any water meter leakage when you rent a house and as a tenant you’re stuck with this!!
