It's that your experience was **very responsive when there was a new charge, but once you needed follow-up without another payment, the promises suddenly didn't mean much**. I'd make the review about that experience: I would not recommend Roto-Rooter after this experience. My biggest issue isn't even the price. It's how differently we were treated before and after paying. When we initially called, they were very responsive. We were looking for a camera inspection for a recurring sewer issue, and the dispatcher said a technician would come out for it. The technician arrived around 1 AM, recommended hydrojetting instead, and told us the hydrojet came with a warranty and that we could schedule the camera afterward. We agreed and paid for the hydrojet based on what we were told. About 10 days later, the problem started showing symptoms again. Suddenly, the experience was completely different. The warranty and follow-up we were told about didn't seem to mean much in practice. They now want another $1,100 for the camera, and unless there is another charge, we haven't been able to get any meaningful help. That's what bothered me most. When there was a service to sell us, someone could come out at 1 AM and there were plenty of assurances about the warranty and follow-up. When the work didn't hold and we actually needed that follow-up, we were basically left hanging unless we agreed to spend more money. I understand plumbing problems can come back and no company can guarantee that a sewer line will never have another issue. But if you're going to use "warranty" and follow-up as part of the conversation when a customer is deciding whether to authorize expensive work, there should be some meaningful support when that customer calls back 10 days later. Based on my experience, **do not rely on verbal assurances about warranties, follow-ups, or what they'll do afterward. Get everything in writing before paying.** If it's not specifically written down, I would assume you'll be paying again if anything goes wrong. We're now looking for another company to diagnose the problem. I won't be using Roto-Rooter again. This hits them harder, IMO, because it's about **trust and how they operate after getting paid**, rather than arguing over whether one particular camera inspection technically should have been free.

These plumbers were punctual, friendly, respectful, and clearly knew what they were doing.. They explained everything in simple terms, fixed my issue perfectly, and made sure I was comfortable with the work before leaving, It’s rare to find a company this honest and dependable.
