Drain Medics absolutely exceeded our expectations on a large commercial sewer relining project. Austin, Robert, Jake, and the rest of the team handled this job with an incredible level of professionalism and expertise from start to finish. What really stood out was their ability to keep our restaurant fully operational during the work. They set up a septic truck bypass system to pump live sewage while the relining was completed. If we had been forced to shut down, we would have lost thousands of dollars in revenue—so this planning alone made a massive difference for our business. Austin and Robert’s plan of attack was extremely methodical and well thought out. Even when curveballs were thrown their way, they adapted quickly and stayed on track without missing a beat. You can tell this isn’t something they just “offer on the side.” When I was researching companies, I knew I needed true specialists—not a plumbing company that treats relining as an add-on service. Drain Medics is the real deal. Their pricing was very fair, especially considering the level of specialization, coordination, and experience required for this type of work. Austin and his team (Robert, Jake,Joel)were all very friendly and considerate. They were timely and fully prepared to install lining in our clay sewer pipe. This was a two day job. The first day digging down to the pipe took a couple of hours. The second day cleaning out the pipe and installing the liner took approx. 8 hours to complete. They went out of their way to explain each step along the way, there were no surprises and the cleanup was very thorough. Drain Medics was prompt with the original estimate and we were pleased with the reasonable quote we were offered. We would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.

Our toilets started raising up and not flushing. We had a man come over and clear the vent, which seemed to solve the problem. But then it returned. Meanwhile our drains had always been sort of slow I called Drain Medics to just look down the vent pipe to see if it had really been properly cleared. They have a visual tube to stick down pipes and see what’s going on. I thought the vent pipe may not have been fully unclogged. But when Austin arrived he immediately spotted something on the front yard that changed everything. A wet patch right under our window was in fact leaking sewage. With poopoo and all! When he put the visual tube in that big drain pipe we saw the entire inside of a very corroded old cast iron pipe going all the way out some 30 feet. Austin said this rough corrosion would catch T-paper and plug it up. Then in a day or two they’d melt, but then in a few days it’d do the same thing again. Austin told us most plumbers would replace the drain pipe. That would dig up our lovely natural lawn, take several days, and would be pricey. He could do a coring out of the inner corrosion of our pipe and then coat that with a strong epoxy resin which would fix the problem. It’s guaranteed for 25 years at about 3/4 the pipe-replacement price,would also save our front yard from destruction, and take only a day. We accepted. Upon further research, I found they were indeed representing the situation correctly and their prices were very reasonable. And moreover they among the few plumbers uniquely qualified to do such repair and at such a price, as this was their specialty. They showed up and did the work brilliantly. I’ve watched people work and have some experience in the field, and they were top notch. Everything went without a hitch. Again, I cannot praise their professionalism, friendliness, and efficacy enough. Well, a few days have passed. The drains drain faster. The toilets flush better. A job I feel really good about. I consider it among the best investments in our little old casita that we’ve made.
