Our house had a major house fire recently and we’ve been working with Paul Davis because our insurance recommended them and the experience so far has been great! Brian’s team handled the pack out and trash out and did a wonderful job. They take such great care of your things, like it was their own. Super grateful to have been recommended them! I honestly have PTSD from my experience. I felt helpless. It was a >100k project due to black mold. Residential is not Paul Davis’s strong point. Took over 7 months to do the work, living in plastic with an infant in the basement. I often had unanswered calls and weeks would go by. The drywall is cracking, wavy and my fire place grout is crumbling. They did not know what they were doing and the internal management had terrible communication. They couldn’t find a mason so had a drywall put concrete to fill the fireplace gaps. The electrician took shortcuts. Thank God we hired an inspector to find the bad wiring. Even after they redid a lot of it it’s still terrible. We gave up. The woman who does invoicing was nasty to me, saying payment was late and put a lien on the home before they even finished the work! Feel free to look me up if you want to know more.It’s hard to get photos of white ceilings that show how bad the work is.
