Re-FreshenMold Remediation in Midlothian, VA

Update after response from owner: Are you aware the property managers say you gave a clean bill of health for the home? Test the wrong room (not the office with the mold which had been sealed off for 6 weeks) and not shocking the results show IAQ acceptable. This room has had mold 5 times in 4 months and attic (access in the office) was remediated 10/22/25, yet mold has been present twice since then and continues coming back. You could’ve taken the IAQ in the office as I requested instead of living room. Unless of course you were expressly told to take in room the where there was no known mold to intentionally create a false narrative. In which case, if you were aware of this and went along, you are in the wrong business. You got played. Original review: Living in a home with black mold presented over 4 months in various areas of office and attic. Re-freshen came out 1/8/26 to take IAQ samples. Only took one sample from living room. Refused to test the office where there is currently new visual black mold present. Did not take any cultures from areas where molds are present on trim or drywall to test for type of black mold. Office not being tested just shows me the owners of this house do not care that their tenant is allergic to molds and smuts and trying to create a false narrative by having wrong room tested intentionally so they can avoid additional mold remediation. No two rooms are going to produce the same results and to get comprehensive results you test the room where the molds are present. And trim with black mold should be tested to determine type black mold (not to mention drywall still has some black mold showing that should be tested). Re-Freshen was told of mold allergy but still chose to test the wrong room. This company should know better. I cannot recommend this company
