On June 19th we received 7 inches of rain in less than 5 hours resulting in a flash flood with nearly 3 feet of water entering our home. I spoke to Danny the same day and within a couple of hours he and his team were in my home and had started the remediation process trying to save what could be saved. His crew is very talented, extremely professional, but most of all caring. Through one of the most difficult times I’ve ever experienced they continually checked on us and helped do things that technically weren’t in their scope of responsibility. Independent Restoration Services is one of the finest businesses I’ve ever had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with and if you’re ever in need of help after a disaster I highly recommend them. Would give 10 stars if possible.

We have worked with quite a few restoration companies over the years. Paul and his crew are definitely a top notch group. What sets them apart is the communication and clarity that they bring to the process with insurance, timelines, and progress of the project. Get with IRS ASAP!!!

Danny, Dylan and all the guys at Independent have been the best part of my home tragically flooding. We went camping for Memorial Day on Friday night and returned home early due to storms in the area on Saturday at 11am. We were met with the shock of our lives, 6-8 inches of water downstairs and the sound of more water rushing in. My husband ran to the sound, through the water and saw the problem was a plastic valve that broke and the water supply to the back of the toilet was flooding our home. In the same bathroom there is the main cut off to the water in our house. My husband then sliced his hand open turning that knob sending him directly to the ER for stitches. I was beside myself and other than opening a door to let the water start flowing out, I had no idea what to do. We’re brand new home owners and we’ve never been through any experience like this. Thankfully my mother in law was here and she immediately started looking up restoration companies, after reading reviews, she said why don’t you call Independent? Denny immediately answered my call on Memorial Day weekend. He let me tell him everything that happened, let me know exactly what to do with my insurance, and sent guys to start clean up SAME DAY on a HOLIDAY WEEKEND. They started working even before we could get into contact with our insurance company and mitigated all the damage that would’ve occurred if they had waited. The guys who came out were polite, funny, and hard workers. Even having to move a lot of stuff that was in a room that we were using to store boxes we hadn’t unpacked yet, I felt so bad for them but they never made me feel like it was a burden and assured me that they were there to help. They had us down to the frame on that first day and set up all the equipment to get us dried out. In total it only took three days to get us all the way out of the downstairs. They probably would’ve only taken two but we had to wait on a pod and dumpster to be delivered after Memorial Day. Not only did they pack us all out, they did all the demo and CLEANED up. I am still so impressed by them. We were 100% dry after 6 days of letting the equipment run. Today they collected everything. They’re coming back Monday to be by our side when our insurance adjuster comes. They documented their whole process and our losses with pictures and everything. These guys are thorough!! I wish nothing but blessings for these wonderful men because this is hands down the hardest thing we’ve ever been through and they’ve been a light in the darkness. I 100% recommend them to anyone and everyone. Call AS SOON AS it happens guys!!!
