We are so incredibly pleased with the work Mold Men did on our basement. They made the process very straight-forward from the beginning when they came out for a free estimate, walking us through our options, and providing a menu of recommended services based on their professional assessment (including demolition, Drylok painting, and other remediation work). This full assessment was typed up and explained thoroughly, too! Throughout the project, their technicians were professional, efficient, and ensured quality work. They explained every step of the process, answered every question we had in great detail, and made sure we were part of the decision making process so that our basement looked exactly as we envisioned. We couldn't be happier with the results, and we absolutely recommend Mold Men to anyone dealing with water damage or mold remediation. I wish I could give them more than five stars!

I really enjoyed working with mold men the first time I used their services. They treated mold in my basement and worked with me to stay within my budget as far as how “finished” the restoration work was which I really appreciated, and is why I called them for a second issue I had where water was coming in under a ground level window in my basement. They did a tear out and mold remediation for extremely inexpensive which I again appreciate. I asked about utilizing an outside company for the waterproofing before reinstalling the drywall, but they wrote up a work plan an assured me that they provide full service and were happy to seal the window and “regrade” to prevent more water intrusion. The mold remediation was $250. The other work I paid them for was $1250 on top of that. They also offered me a 2 year guarantee on the work they did. The plan was to wait until we were sure the water intrusion issue was resolved before restoring the inside. They were going to move forward with this- another $1500 ($3k total) but I put it off because I didn’t fully trust that the issue was fixed. I’m glad we did not proceed, as a few months later I started getting water in that area again. I called to ask about another quote. The owner came up and basically said he wasn’t sure what to do. I told him about the guarantee they gave me and asked if they’d be willing to try something else and give me credit towards it for the $1250 I already paid for the solution that was guaranteed but didn’t work. His response was “well, we aren’t a waterproofing company” (a stark comparison to what his crew told me when I asked if should look into an outside company for the waterproofing, “no ma’am we do it all and we guarantee our work for 2 years”). Needless to say, he said he’d write me up a quote, left, and then never got back to me. I’m extremely disappointed that I paid over $1000 for nothing. Their mold remediation is a good deal, and their crew is extremely pleasant to work with and I appreciate their hard work. But the owner didn’t seem to care about my problem at all.

I would absolutely recommend them to everyone, I had a wonderful experience with Mold Men of Pittsburgh! The crew showed up on time, and completed the job quickly, they actually went above and beyond after needing to cut more of my wall than expected. They explained everything clearly, even talked to my husband on the phone to answer his questions since he could not be there. They cleaned up everything up after and did not leave any mess behind. It’s hard to know what to do or who to call when you find mold, but this company definitely exceeded my expectations!
