Our basement recently flooded and was immediately overwhelmed with what all I needed to do. My neighbor referred Restoration 1 KC to me so I gave them a call. I spoke with Ryan and he had a crew out there within an hour. The guys who showed up were extremely helpful and sympathetic to the situation. Bryan was very informative throughout the entire process, explaining what they needed to do, why they needed to do it and explained next steps. Bryan even came over during the weekend to check-in on the dehumidifiers and fans and to also make sure things were drying out appropriately. They had everything completely dried out within 4 days of calling them. I am extremely satisfied with their promptness and their diligence to their work. We had Smoke damage through out the main floor of our home. I called three different restoration companies. Restoration 1 was by far the best of the three companies that I contacted. Ryan and his crew made sure that both my wife and I were kept upto date through-out the entire process and went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with each step of the process, including working with our insurance to make sure that it was done right and the supporting companies met their high standards. We had a couple of minor accidents, some broken dishes that fell out of a cabinet as it was moved and a small scratch on our wood floor in our bedroom. In both cases the crew notified us of the incidents and Ryan made sure that we were happy with the repairs and payment for the broken dishes. They had a flooring company ("SBV", I would also recomend them for any flooring needs you may have.) matched our floor so well that there is no way you could tell where the scratch was. The painter that Restroation 1 used was also first class. They also went above and beyond to ensure we were happy with the finished work. Ryan Ulrich and Restoration 1 is a world class company to work with and they make sure that the supporting companies that they work with for painting and flooring have the same high standards. I would recommend them without any reservation to take care of your Restoration projects.

After a giant red oak fell on our house, our insurance company directed us to Ryan at Restoration 1 as our contractor for the rebuild. Now that we are at the end of this process I can share that we are incredibly grateful to Ryan, his entire team and all the subcontractors along the way. They made a very scary and stressful event MUCH less overwhelming. Ryan and the teams were kind, helpful, flexible, and aided us in making the best of a bad situation by doing a fantastic rebuild. While we would never wish a tree fall on anyone, if your house has an emergency event then know you will be in very good hands with Ryan and Restoration 1!
