Due to years of having a leaky gutter and kids climbing on top, my back door overhang was rotted with a gaping hole and slate shingles either broken or missing. It had to be replaced. I had talked to a few handymen, who left me with the impression that they had neither the skill nor the resources to restore it. I put a claim in through Allstate, who sent Thomasville out to evaluate. The claim was denied cause the damage was not caused by any vandalism or singular weather related incident. Despite this, Ron Bateman of Thomasville said that they were not deterred and would work with me to obtain financing or provide an out-of-pocket schedule to pay for the repair. Ron sent three subcontractors by who were very friendly and and listened to every word I had to say. Because I belong to a neighborhood covenant association, the restoration had to be identical to the original or meet the approval of the board. The work started on the 21st and was finished on the 22nd. The restoration looks identical to the overhang on the other side. That was my biggest worry, and they put my fears to rest. Hector, the mentor of the team, proved to be highly resourceful and very skilled. Excellent speedy job, and in freezing weather too. I'm so glad that I chose Ron Bateman and the Thomasville team. Please see the before and after pictures. The weather prevented the team from applying a 2nd coat of paint, but they will be back when the weather is fair. Wow I’m so grateful for Thonasville and their staff. I was relocated out of my home after it flooded and the process of them getting me back in my home was so efficient and professional. Josh was wonderful to work with, he was able to give me an accurate expectation of how long it would take and made sure to consistently communicate what was taking place. Thomasville restoration showed up within a couple hours of my calling them as my busted bathroom pipes were filling up the great room below it with water.
