Trevor and DJ went above and beyond to get my claim covered. DJ made sure everything went smoothly with my repairs and he was easy to communicate with. They also did a wonderful job on my parents claim and even tho the insurance didn't pay, they fought hard trying to get it covered. Trevor is caring and very personable. I would definitely use them again.

I have nothing but great things to say about this company! Unfortunately they did not have the opportunity to complete the project due to a flood ordinance HOWEVER I cannot express how kind, compassionate, understanding, responsive and knowledgeable DJ, Trevor and the team at First Light are! I called multiple companies at the onset of the flood and they were by far the most helpful in terms of navigating first steps and were out mitigating the damage as soon as the water receded. Shortly after there was an issue with a dishwasher connection that re-introduced water into the home post-mitigation which they went above and beyond to correct at no additional cost. While I battled it out with insurance, they were right there with me calling the inspector and working with him to make sure he had everything he needed and that everything was covered. When they received a stop-work order by my town at the start of restoration, they were on top of it trying to figure out a solution—making countless calls and even meeting with the building inspector. My situation turned out really terrible but I am very grateful for DJ and Trevor taking the time to help, meeting me on weekends (had to evacuate to Florida so this took planning!) and taking care of literally EVERYTHING that I couldn’t from 16 hours away. Highly highly highly recommend this company - service is impeccable and there is no doubt they approach every project with a huge amount of knowledge, compassion, care and grace. I really appreciate all your help!

We had a water leak under our kitchen sink onto our hardwood floors and through the basement ceiling. First Light was very responsive, knowledgeable and respectful of our home. They brought their equipment in and dried out the layer between our floor and the ceiling and prevented major damage of buckled hardwood. We highly recommend First Light, they saved us a lot of money!
