Power Dry was recommended to me by my plumber & was I glad he did! I came home from my trip to discover that the hot water pipe under my sink had busted & created an incredibly huge mess in the kitchen down to the basement underneath it. The countertop, cabinets, drawers were warped & most problematic was the extent of the mold in the kitchen & basement. Mitchell Gehrs was my first contact with Power Dry. He was professional, knowledgeable & was thorough in his explanation of the situation at the house, the mold remediation that needs to be done, the entire process of resolving the water damage from start to end. He was upfront with the total cost of the job that needs to be done. It did cost a lot but when you want the best job & have the assurance of the best result, you see the bigger picture beyond the $. Mitch kept in contact with me with updates during the entire work at the house which I appreciated. The staff that came to start the job were respectful, understanding, hardworking, and serious about doing the right & best way to take care of the mold & water damage. They were easy to talk to, answered my questions patiently & updated me with their progress throughout the entirety of their work at the house. They were prompt, got to work right away & clean up well after their work. Special mention & thanks to Mike & Brent for their efficiency, hard work, kindness, honesty & professionalism. They leave me no doubt that the issues in the house related to mold & water damage were being addressed seriously & properly. I’m very pleased to have Power Dry be the company to come & do an excellent job with mold mitigation & taking care of the water damage. Edit: 7/29/2026 They still have yet to complete the reconstruction work. In fact they’ve stopped responding to messages and calls altogether. That’s not including numerous no-call no shows. February 2026 Powder Dry has been nothing but amazing during this whole process. I feel like I am running around like a chicken with its head chopped off and they’ve been professional and supportive the entire time. This whole thing has been overwhelming and as well as embarrassing. Power Dry has been considerate, thoughtful, and good humored while also being matter of fact. Each step was explained, at no point did I find myself wondering what the heck was going on. They’re efficient. A team was able to start working within an hour of getting us a price quote. They were very easy to book with and organize plans of attack. They were also clear at explaining what they needed and why. They did not need babysitting, I was able to get my work done while they did theirs. All around great service! Would work with them again.

Power Dry showed up within just a couple hours, on a Friday, and immediately started the mitigation process of cleaning up my basement flood. I do not like the way they have the homeowner sign documents/contracts on the estimate saying if the insurance denies the claim the homeowner pays the bill! There needs to be another option! With 3 inches of water in my basement, I almost felt like they had me over a barrel....like "Sign it or we leave you with the water!" Other than that, the actual Mitigation Expert (Trevor) was absolutely amazing! He busted his hump vacuuming up all the water out of my carpet and padding, then cutting out all the carpet and padding, bagging it up, and carrying it upstairs and out. Then he set up all the air moving machines, dehumidifiers, and blowers and got it all taken care of in 3 days time!
