If you actually want your mold issue fixed, look elsewhere. I have spent a couple weeks trying to hire ServPro, and they have completely ghosted me. My initial appointment was a complete no-show. No call, no heads up, and the office phone went straight to voicemail. The next day, they called to apologize, saying there were separate family emergencies for both the inspector and the receptionist. I completely understood and politely agreed to reschedule for the next week. The inspector who finally came out was actually great—very polite, knowledgeable, and assured me they could get a crew out that same week. But after he left, it was complete radio silence. I never received a quote and was entirely ghosted. Over the next week and a half, I called the office at least four times. The receptionist was polite but could only leave notes for the inspector, and later his supervisor, to call me back. I even texted and called the inspector directly, leaving voicemails. Nothing. Meanwhile, I have mold spores in my home. I have been nothing but polite and patient, yet I am forced to literally beg them to take my money. It is bizarrely unprofessional. Do not waste your time trying to schedule with a company that refuses to communicate.

Most importantly, they worked diligently to mitigate all the damage. What was also extremely helpful was their expertise with working through my insurance. Whether it be their damage mitigation team, or their personal items team (who packed out all of our personal items), they were always professional & timely. I can’t thank them enough for their work.

Service pro Gold Coast/Lincoln park were one of several remediation companies recommended to me by my insurance. We had a braided hose spring a leak which caused water damage to our bathroom, brand new wood floors, bedroom closet downstairs and to the bathroom of unit below us. Kevin was quick to respond, provided exceptional service and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. The crew which installed the fans and dehumidifiers were great. Service pro was able to work directly with my insurance for payment and we’re able to salvage our brand new wood floors. I am very satisfied with my experience as there are multiple remediation companies to choose from. I always read reviews and decided to pull the trigger with service pro and I’m glad I did.
