Spoke to Joe, he sent out Mary to get specs. I asked why the one doing the quote wasn't going out and I was assured that Mary and he have been doing this a long time. What Mary explained to me during walk-thru and what Joe quoted had several discrepancies and the job was canceled. The 3-star rating is solely because my $2000 deposit was refunded. However, the $199 inspection fee and my wasted time still resulted in a net loss.

Do not hire this company. The techs were down in my crawl space all day. They put in the time, the owner was knowledgeable and professional. BUT they did not address a large area of mold, under 2 of the 3 wet rooms. (Wet meaning rooms with plumbing -bathrooms and kitchen) 1 kitchen and 1 bathroom had been completely untouched by Mold Pro after being down there remediating all day. I only found out after I had a home inspector down there in the crawlspace a month later looking for an ant nest. He took photos & a swab and discovered it has been untreated. When I called Mold Pro they said they didn't have a long enough hose to reach that area. And agreed to send out a technician to fix it. He arrived unprepared. Was only planning to spot treat it with shockwave by fogging. Despite me asking to get what I paid for, fogging, spraying, scrubbing and omninpro. This technician did not use the same process. The first time my family had to leave the house during treatment for 2 days, it was so chemically odorous. This time I didn't smell one single thing. Neither the the inspector who I had to pay to come back a second time, to QC their work since I now didn't trust them to do what they said they would, and I can't get down in the crawlspace myself to check it. This second visit the inspector took photos and swabs again, mold was still present it looked as if it had just been sprayed over with omnipro. I contacted the owner, he came out to look himself, found the area in mention, said it could be cobwebs, regardless it was not abraded. And he found more area that had not been treated. Despite seeing this for himself he then had the audacity to question the integrity and motives of my home inspector, as if him finding things wrong, was not the purpose of his job. He He agreed to send out the guys again, but never scheduled the appointment with me. One day his technician called me out of the blue saying he was in route. I said forget it as I already hired another company to fix it. I didnt want them back a 3rd time. Had I not had someone QC their work I never would have known they missed whole areas of mold during the "remediation" and the health issues we are dealing with would have been unresolved. You had ONE job Mold Pro. And you FAILED big time.

Joe the inspector was incredibly kind, informative, and generous with his time. He patiently answered all of my questions over the phone and made sure i had all the information i needed to make a well-informed decision about my situation. Thanks again, Joe!
