Tyler and Tyrel did a great job with the remediation in our home. We had mold in the bathroom that needed to be treated—it had started spreading to the other bathroom, and there was also mold coming from a leaking water heater. What could have quickly become a disaster was handled with care and professionalism. They came in and cleaned everything thoroughly, taking extra time to ensure the showers were properly caulked and the walls were spotless. *I initially gave the review 5 stars but after looking at the work once they left, I updated my review and gave it 3 stars because they did not put the vents back on properly. One vent cover was on upside-down so you saw everything in the vent while sitting in the dining room. Pic attached. And other vents were not tightly screwed back on and were peeled off from the paint so it made the area around the vent look bad. See pics. I sent info to the company about this and they never updated anything. This is what made me feel like the review had to be adjusted. It looked horrible around the vents.

Sentry mold was a disaster! They came in to fix mold that had accumulated from leaking pipes. Their tech came in and removed the basboards/cabinets but then busted a pipe which caused a MAJOR leak in my master bathroom going through the wall to my closet and into my master bedroom floor through the ceiling below and it was raining downstairs. They had told me they would try to fix the carpets, but they did say they would take out the ceiling that was ruined because of THEIR worker. However, they told me when they came back that they were not fixing the carpets or the ceiling where they had caused the leak. They also put a tube in between my door crack when they were filtering the water, the tub froze and now my door won’t lock. This happened December 27th and it’s still not done. My two kids and I have been in a hotel ever since. Would NOT recommend. Edit to add: When they finally did “finish”, my kitchen and living room were caked with sawdust an inch thick from where they didn’t tape off the areas correctly. I had to clean everything after they left due to the condition it was in. Every room they entered had to be cleaned. A month later and I’m still buying things that they destroyed due to negligence.

I specifically want to highlight Shane, Tyler, and Jeff. If it were not for the inspectors, I would not have known how to advocate for myself, my child, and my overall health. I am on the pathway to better breathing in my sanctuary (my home) and better overall health because of Sentry. I’d be remiss not to mention Jimmy and Ribbert. They built back my kitchen after the demolition and remediation, and I sure wished they could do my whole kitchen. They were thorough and precise and cared about the safety and quality of the project like I was family. Saving the best for last, Shane. Shane turned this random job for this random lady and her child into a human experience. He came with care and compassion. And, I knew whatever he could do to safely remove discoloration and other contaminants would be done to the highest level of his ability. Together they brought calmness and peace to a very unnerving and stressful situation. I am deeply appreciative. The only reason I rated Sentry 4 vs 5 stars was that there have been scheduling issues and conflicts in messages sent between Sentry, myself, and my rental company. That has been a significant pain point. Otherwise, this would be a 5 star review.
