I selected Remediation Group based on their reputation and positive reviews, not because they were the lowest-priced option. My experience was mixed. The Water Mitigation portion of the project was excellent. Michael Van der Sandt and his team were professional, responsive, and completed the work on schedule. Communication was outstanding throughout the mitigation process, and every question I had was answered promptly. Michael is a true professional and a valuable asset to the company. Unfortunately, the Reconstruction phase was a different experience. Communication with the estimator Clinton Parker was extremely difficult. Emails often required multiple follow-ups before receiving a response, and text messages frequently went unanswered. I also discovered duplicate charges on the reconstruction estimate for work that had already been billed under the mitigation phase. To the company's credit, they acknowledged the mistake, and confirmed that approximately $1,100 in duplicate charges would be removed from the final invoice. Overall, my experience was mixed. The mitigation team earned 5 stars, while the reconstruction phase fell well below expectations.

Hedger was great at managing my water damaged home. He explained each step, was on time, helpful, and showed the utmost respect. He called even when he wasn’t scheduled to show up to check on the process. I felt safe and reassured. His entire team was kind and explained everything they were doing. Ryan was great as well. I’m sorry I can’t remember everyone’s name but they all did a great job. Water damage can be stressful but this team really eased my mind and nerves.I would use this company again and highly recommend them.

After noticing moisture, mold, and cracking on my guest bedroom ceiling I called Remediation Group to see if they'd be able to help diagnose and resolve. Michael came out the same day to take a look - he took moisture readings of various spots on the ceiling, explained the potential scope of work, and walked through the company's process. He then followed up with an estimate very shortly after. Once his team (promptly) began the tear down process, they realized the issue was worse than anticipated. Michael immediately communicated what the team was seeing, how it would impact the scope of work, and was quick to send over an agreed upon change order. I felt that he was reasonable on the price increase and that he had my best interest at heart during those conversations. The team performing the work was very friendly, thorough in cleaning up after themselves every day, and was a pleasure to have in my home. I would absolutely recommend Michael and the Remediation Group for any remediation type work you may need. They made an unfortunate issue much less of a headache than it could have been.
