In May, 2025 we suffered catastrophic water damage when the fresh water line to a toilet broke during the night. Our main floor and finished basement suffered extensive water damage. We contacted Green Planet Restoration after turning off the water to the house and Olman arrived at our house within 4 hours to start the drying out process. Several more people arrived after that to assist. David Malka arrived that same day to discuss the restoration and rebuild process. We found David to be very professional yet compassionate at the same time. David was instrumental in helping us to deal with the insurance company and after a period of several months our claim was assigned to the Large Loss Team. Green Planet (David) handled everything from securing materials to hiring subcontractors to complete our rebuild. All of the wood flooring on the main floor was replaced. The Kitchen was gutted and rebuilt with new cabinets and counter tops. The basement required new sheet rock, flooring, cabinets and paint. We are very happy with the result. Suffering extensive damage like we did was pretty traumatic, but Green Planet made the whole process so much better. David is an honest, caring guy who was a pleasure to work with. We highly recommend them.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon Green Planet Restoration after a bathroom leak. In September, we found a damp patch of carpet in our basement and a slow leak in our HVAC unit. This spread to two rooms, damaging the carpet and big chunks of drywall. David, our field supervisor, thoroughly inspected the damage and gave us an honest and careful outlook about the restoration process. Optimistically planning on insurance coverage, but realistically expecting denial, he made sure that all work and costs were approved by us before and throughout the insurance process. Thankfully we ended up being covered, and David helped negotiate on our behalf. Olman, our project manager, was attentive and communicative. He kept us up to date with all the work and progress, and helped us coordinate with the workers we had coming and going for several weeks. The crew working on the house was excellent, too! Giovanni walked us through the work, and helped us when we wanted to make adjustments. We made some pretty drastic changes to our spaces, installing LVP in both rooms and painting the wall and ceiling a dark color in one of them. These big upgrades were easily handled. At no point did we ever feel like we were left hanging or out of the loop. Even throughout the payment process, with several hiccups with our insurance checks, they were kind, patient, and understanding.
