Our water heater failed. When the plumber came to replace it, he discovered it had been leaking, damaging the floor. He recommended I call The Flood Guys. My house was built in 1964, renovated in the 1970s, and again in the 1990s. The laundry room floor was like an archaeological dig of layers of flooring. The Flood Guys discovered asbestos in the mastic used to glue one layer down. Uh-oh. Also, the standing water had soaked through to wet insulation in the crawl space beneath. This small project had a lot of phases. Water dry-out. Asbestos removal. Tear-out of damaged flooring and drywall. Repair and re-flooring. That means I met a LOT of The Flood Guys. Walker and Kaynen managed the water mitigation aspect. They were both kind, courteous, thorough, extremely competent, and willing to answer any questions about the process. When they worked, they protected my flooring from the front door to the laundry room. Flood Guys sub-contracted to Pacific Abatement to get rid of the asbestos. The communication was great, seamless from my viewpoint. My State Farm adjuster tried to cheap out on insurance, estimating repair costs while omitting obvious normal charges such as replacing baseboards on the floor and hauling away debris after the project. Flood Guys interacted with him and got him up to reasonable payout. This took weeks of negotiation; Flood Guys coordinated with my plumber so we weren't missing hot water that whole time. For the repairs, Dustin Moore was a superstar. You cannot tell anything bad happened in the room; the fix is perfection. Ryan contributed amazing tactics such as using a hoverboard to scoot the washer and dryer around effortlessly. Despite all the horror stories my friends tell me about contractors for their renovation projects, Flood Guys were fantastic. They treated me better than my own insurance provider did. Everyone was kind, competent, great communicators. My project was tiny to them and they still gave me white glove service. Highly recommended.

We had major water damage in our mobile home. It had been empty for a few months and the water damage was unnoticed for months. The bedroom, bathroom and part of the dining room were soaked and full of mildew.The Flood Guys came in and stripped everything down to the studs, cleaned, sanitized and sealed everything and put in dryers. Kaynen and his team were quick, knowledgeable and helpful. The Contents team, Phillip and Zyrece, moved the furniture and belongings in the affected area into dry, unaffected areas. The Flood Guys were professional, knowledgeable and very good.

I had pipes burst in my laundry room and 1/2 bath back in January during the cold snap. Cory and his team showed up at the recommendation of the plumber who fixed the initial damage. The Flood Guys were prompt and efficient. They immediately began work at removing all wet materials from the area and stripped the room down to the studs. They worked fast and cleaned up thoroughly. They were very respectful of my home and property. They provided a very detailed estimate (with photos) of all the work they did which my insurance company appreciated. Their work is quality and thorough in every aspect. Communication was easy and prompt. Cory even called to check in with me near the end of the job when he was on vacation with his family. This is a very professional company with dedicated staff that truly cares about their customers. I would definitely call on them again should the need ever arise - they do fantastic work!
