The folks at Kustom are difficult to deal with and provide very low quality craftsmanship. I could have easily done a better job myself, and I am not a professional. The amount of work they had to do was minimal but they still managed to screw up just about everything. When retexturing the new drywall, they managed to texture our cabinets as well. Their paint job was terrible as well, they managed to get paint everywhere and even spilled an entire can of paint on the carpet. They wildly over charged for this simple job and wouldn’t provide a breakdown of the costs when asked. They’ve been giving me the run around for over 6 months now and are trying to bill me for the full job even though I have documentation that my insurance has paid them. DO NOT HIRE KUSTOM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
The GM has no actual work experience. Kustom promised me the moon but I quickly learned they would say anything with zero follow through. After my project director repeatedly lied to me I attempted to communicate with his supervisor, the GM. The GM told me that he personally had never done any of the work and didn’t know how to do the work - he was boasting. The GM is clueless and blindly had his project director’s back. If you want a suit managing your project these are your guys.
Could not recommend these guys more highly! After being left with a disastrous situation attempting to work with Paul Davis (recommended by our insurance company) - long story short the other company was quick on the demo & left us for months with no progress towards actual renovation. Thankfully once we found Kustom they saved the day in no time! GREAT COMMUNICATION, quick turnaround and unprompted weekly updates. Our project manager Terry was on top of it and all the sub-contractors were professional and efficient. Before pics were what we were left with for over 2 months in the dead of winter from Paul Davis. After is ~ 2 weeks of work from Kustom’s guys. (Don’t judge on the bathroom flooring color mismatch that was our own purchase)
