I hired Seaside Restoration Services for emergency water mitigation after a broken pipe flooded the first floor of my home. While they responded quickly at first, the overall experience became very frustrating. Their report listed the loss as Category 2 / Class 2, but several invoice line items were billed as Category 3, which created issues with the insurance review. There were also concerns regarding equipment days, air scrubbers, HEPA cleaning, decontamination charges, supervisor charges, and moisture readings that were not clearly supported or easy to reconcile. Even after a revised invoice, several items still appeared inconsistent or unclear. During an already stressful water damage situation, I expected better communication, clearer documentation, and billing that aligned with the actual work performed and the reported category of loss. I appreciate the initial emergency response, but based on the billing/documentation issues and the difficulty resolving the invoice with the insurance company, I would not recommend this company without caution. Homeowners should carefully review the contract, invoice, dry logs, and any payment assignment language before moving forward
