If you need someone to help for a water disaster in your house, SERVPRO is the company to call! Paul Williams, Mitigation Manager, led the team and helped me understand what was going to take place. Jose Arvizu, Restoration Supervisor , was amazing to take action to survey the immediate damage and start the process of restoration. SERVPRO came to my townhouse at 10 pm on a Tuesday night when my toilet was overflowing due to tree roots in the pipes. He and Steve Stumpf, worked diligently until 1 am installing dehumidifiers and Hepa equipment. Both of them helped move items from the floors that were in the water path and roll my carpets back from the water. They were back everyday checking on the equipment. He explained all the process clearly which I appreciated. I highly recommend SERVPRO’s team. Paul, Jose and Steve are a credit to SERVPRO’s professional staff.

Dustin with ServPro did an outstanding job repairing a remediation. He was professional, prompt, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. He quickly identified the issue, explained the repair steps, and made sure everything was completed thoroughly and efficiently. His attention to detail and commitment to quality service really stood out. We truly appreciate his hard work and highly recommend Dustin and ServPro for any repair needs!

Do not use Servpro for your reconstruction needs. I had a house fire, and the first time my insurance representative came through my door, he brought a Servpro clean up crew with him. Since they were on site ready to work I agreed for them to do the clean up. Then it was time for reconstruction. I was given the opportunity to choose any contractor I wanted. However, not being knowledgeable of the construction industry and to avoid having to submit progress reports, photos, etc. of ongoing progress, I relied on my insurance representative’s referral. I was told that reconstruction work done by Servpro would be accepted without question. Do not fall for that trap. Our first project manager unexpectedly left due to a family emergency. Our second project manager was less than attentive. He did not respond to calls or texts or follow up with engineering plans needed for construction. This dragged on for several months. It was only after a bad review was posted that we were given a responsible, reliable project manager and construction finally began. However, due to the time lapse I reached the time limit on covering personal expenses, ie rent, etc.. I was told I would have to pay out of pocket until construction was completed. That was a battle I should never have had to fight. Like all contractors, Servpro uses subcontractors. However, there was a lack of supervision or least communication with some of them. The HVAC was a big issue with me. Before the fire I had electric heating and air. The unit was replaced with a gas heater without discussing it with me. I did not then nor do I want now to have gas heater, but that’s what I am living with. Servpro had no explanation for why this happened. We also had a tankless propane hot water heater installed. It was positioned too close to the propane tank itself and therefore did not meet code. The gas company would not connect the tank until it was moved. This resulted in postponing our CO. Another subcontractor issue was with the gutters. They were improperly installed and water rushes down the side of the house when it rains. Servpro says it is not their responsibility to correct the problem because they were installed by a sub. There was one more thing that was a concern in their overall approach to the construction process. Servpro never installed a temporary power pole during the entire project. Instead, they relied on generators to power all the tools, etc. This seems to me to be a very unprofessional practice in the construction business which may indicate that they were not quite up to the task of building a house from the ground up. I’m not sure which was worse, suffering through a house fire or suffering through Servpro. I certainly wouldn’t wish a house fire on anyone, but I wouldn’t wish dealing with Servpro on anyone either. If you have already been through one disaster, don’t let Servpro be your second.
