My husband and I just moved to James Island and upon purchasing our house we discovered black mold throughout the kitchen. Paul Davis Restoration was hired by the sellers to mitigate the mold and remodel our kitchen, and they were an absolute lifesaver during this stressful time. The mold mitigation was quick and efficient and the kitchen remodeling process was much faster than we had anticipated! A special shoutout to Justin for his excellent communication throughout the process and assuring that we were taken care of until everything was to our satisfaction. We will absolutely be using their services in the future.

We are absolutely blown away by the work done by Paul Davis Restoration. We were referred by Brady at Water Damage Pro after discovering extensive water and termite damage that required taking our kitchen and bathroom completely down to the joists. It was a nightmare situation—seeing our home in that vulnerable state was incredibly stressful—but the Paul Davis team quickly turned it all around. From the very start, David Forbes, the estimator, set the tone for a professional and transparent experience. He was calm, knowledgeable, and thorough, laying out exactly what needed to be done and what we could expect along the way. His clear explanations and realistic timelines helped us feel confident that we were in good hands. Once construction began, our project manager, Patrick Grenier, became the driving force behind the rebuild. Living through a renovation of this scale with a family is no small challenge, especially since we moved back into the house halfway through. Patrick handled scheduling, logistics, and communication with remarkable precision and care. We were kept in the loop every step of the way, and even when delays arose due to the city permitting process, Patrick was upfront and proactive in resolving issues to keep things moving. The end result is nothing short of incredible. What started as a gutted shell has been transformed into a beautiful, functional, and modern kitchen and bathroom. The craftsmanship is exceptional—from the flawless tile work in the shower to the perfectly installed kitchen cabinets. The attention to detail and pride in workmanship are obvious in every corner. Patrick and his team didn’t just restore our home; they improved it beyond what we could have imagined. If you hire them for your project make sure they have enough material to complete the job in the agreed upon time frame. The work they did for me was very good. My complaint is they didn't have enough flooring material to complete the project. They knew about it before they started. They gambled that their supplier would get it to them 2 days before the agreed upon completion date. The material didn't arrive. It took them an additional 2 weeks. In addition to this inconvenience there were items that were broken, ruined or lost. I replaced them. Also they can't figure out how to replace the floor guide to the sliding doors for a closet. It was there before they started. My garbage disposal isn't working properly. Sometimes it doesn't start or stop when I press the button the first time it sometimes takes 2 or 3 or more attempts. It started when their plumber used silicone to secure the switch to the counter. He couldn't use the nut due to the switch not long enough. They sent me a final bill. I refused to pay it until we work out my compensation for my inconvenience and replacement cost of the items I had to buy. Apparently they are in no hurry. They seem to be ignoring me.
