We had a great experience working with Paul Davis after our home was damaged by a fallen tree. From start to finish, the entire process was handled with professionalism and care. Rachel, our Project Manager, did an outstanding job coordinating the subcontractors and has a well rounded knowledge of the building trades. There was a lot involved in restoring our home, but Rachel made it feel manageable. We especially appreciated her willingness to thoughtfully adjust and improve the plans in ways that ultimately benefited the entire project. Rachel was always responsive-quick to reply to our questions and requests-which made a stressful process feel much more manageable. She communicated clearly, stayed organized, and ensured that all the work was completed with our vision in mind. Thanks to her efforts and the team’s hard work, we have a beautiful restored home. We would absolutely recommend Paul Davis to anyone in need of restoration services.

We had a tree fall on our home last May, and Tom Rapp actively pursued us for this job. Unfortunately, our first project manager was extremely difficult to work with and caused significant delays, holding up the project for months. The project was then handed off to a new manager just before winter, which created additional challenges. We were never made aware that every aspect of the job would be handled by subcontractors rather than Paul Davis directly. The subcontractors left our property in unacceptable condition, with debris and trash scattered across our lawn and driveway. No magnetic sweep was done, and we continue to find nails throughout the property. Old gutters that were removed are still sitting in our yard, along with shingles and siding debris. Work was only performed sporadically, often limited to weekends, and the contractors did not show up consistently. As a result, what should have been a straightforward project was unnecessarily extended by several months. This has been, without question, the worst experience we have ever had as homeowners. We feel misled and that the quality of service we received does not reflect what we paid for. I find it impossible to believe this company legitimately maintains a 4.9-star rating. My experience was nowhere close to that. We overpaid for a poor-quality job that took almost a year to finish. The work, communication, and overall service fell far below expectations. If I could give less than one star, I would.

We had a devastating fire October 30, 2024. Paul Davis showed up on scene without us calling they boarded up the house. We found out later on that they had a teardown permit for the house November 2024. But they wouldn’t tear down the house because they were trying to get more money for rebuild and everything else that goes along with all that they told us that we should be able to save part of the house fast-forward to May 2025. Found out that the house had to be totally tore down but the garage had to have a new basement everything. And this is the short version if you have any questions you’re more than welcome to contact me. They received $80,000 from our insurance company. And they basically did absolutely nothing for what they did do had to be tore down anyways. If they’ve been in that business that long they would’ve known that the whole house had to be tore out they play on your sympathy granite. We have a new house, but it’s been a rough one. We had to live in a trailer for well over a year looking at that house that was burnt for nine months. What really pissed us off be honest is that they had that teardown in November and they never even told us we found out after the fact after we fired them.
