As the Managing Director of pewag, Inc., I recently had to address a sewage backup that flooded our office bathrooms. Because this involved contaminated water, the health and safety of our employees was our top priority. We knew this was not something we could attempt to handle ourselves. Paul Davis of NW Chicago responded immediately and was on site to assess the damage. They showed us exactly where water had seeped into the drywall and the space between the bathrooms, areas we would not have identified on our own. Their team recommended removing the lower sections of affected drywall, thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all impacted areas, properly drying the walls and floors, and then restoring the rooms to their original condition. Communication throughout the process was clear and professional. Remediation began immediately after our call, and within two days we had a detailed quote for the restoration work, even before the space was fully dry. The bathrooms were fully restored within two weeks. While that was a temporary inconvenience, we were able to use other bathrooms in the building and allow some employees to work from home. The crew was extremely professional. They carefully covered our office carpet and surrounding areas to prevent any construction damage, and they sealed off the work areas to keep dust from spreading into the rest of the office. They were also sharply dressed and respectful of the fact that we are a working office environment, which we appreciated. We chose Paul Davis because we wanted the job done correctly and safely, and they delivered. Although we hope we never face a situation like this again, we would absolutely call Paul Davis of NW Chicago for any future restoration work.
