★☆☆☆☆ My experience with AEG Construction & Restoration involved unfinished work, repeated water concerns, extremely poor communication, and demands for final payment before the project was properly completed or closed out. On July 14, AEG stated in writing that it had “completed all of the repairs” and asked me to sign a Notice of Completion. Photographs taken immediately afterward showed an open drywall hole exposing the shower plumbing, visible moisture and pooling beneath the shower area, an incomplete vapor barrier, exposed crawlspace flooring, loose materials, and debris. I notified AEG in writing about post-work water problems on May 6 and again on July 27. The shower required three separate return visits before AEG could determine whether its newly installed plumbing was still leaking. On July 17, AEG acknowledged that its lead worker had been instructed to install the crawlspace plastic and said the worker would return—confirming that this work remained unfinished after AEG had already declared the project complete. Communication throughout this process was exceptionally poor. Calls and emails frequently went unanswered, while payment demands continued. Even the Liberty Mutual representative involved in the claim documented difficulty obtaining responses from AEG. On August 26, AEG confirmed that Jeff, Arturo, and Ivan would return on August 31 at 9:00 a.m. to finish the drywall and vapor barrier. I confirmed that access would be available. AEG subsequently cancelled the appointment, and no one appeared. There was never a joint inspection, completed punch list, or documented project closeout. AEG then offered a $38.34 credit while continuing to demand approximately $1,900. Its own estimate shows that $38.34 represents only the complete invoiced value of the single vapor-barrier line, including overhead, profit, and tax. Removing one unfinished line item does not address the unfinished drywall, water concerns, repeated return visits, debris, lengthy delays, poor communication, or lack of a proper closeout. AEG also threatened lien/legal action while the invoice was formally disputed. I have preserved the emails, estimate, photographs, payment records, and scheduling communications supporting this review. I am not refusing to pay for properly completed and satisfactory work. I object to being charged as though this project was properly finished and accepted when the documented condition of the property shows otherwise. Based on my firsthand experience, I cannot recommend AEG Construction & Restoration.

I highly recommend AEG for any repairs you need around your home. They were very timely, curtious, and did a very nice job of restoring my basement after I had the sewer line upgraded. They really care about the work performed and making sure the customer is saticified.
