It was a pleasure working with Diego and Jesus from Paul Davis Restoration during a stressful time with our home. They were both very communicative, always taking the time to answer all of my questions and explain the process. They were friendly, professional, and extremely efficient throughout the job. I also really appreciated how mindful they were about keeping the house as clean as possible while working. Their professionalism and positive attitude made the whole experience much easier. Aug 2024 water leak, Paul Davis did remediation and build out. Wood floors had to be completely replaced. We were out of town when this happened but had someone watching the house for us while the work was done. May 2025 Floor is cupping and cracking which started shortly after install they ignited it and said it was faulty wood. 😂 We notified Paul Davis, again after an independent inspection by the mfg was done and found very high moisture content in the floors, their approach to repairs has been non existent. They sent many people to view the flooring and multiple times. They agreed to replace flooring in October 2025 then ghosted us and cancelled in Jan 2026 right before start date. No explanation. We filed with ROC, their directive was to repair the floor, they ignored it. (It is a long process, requires patience and perseverance). We reopened the claim in April 2027 due to mold growing on top of the new wood flooring. Yes all leak test were done by independent contractors, no leaks. Paul Davis did a mold check and it is positive. Again ROC sent a directive to replace the whole floor due to NO vapor barrier was used by Paul Davis when the floors were installed and no acclimation of the wood was determined. Almost 2 years dealing with this company, they’re a joke. Call ROC before using them, as they have many complaints but don’t show on line. Registrar of Contractors ROC is now taking them to legal for our recovery. Anybody else have issues like this call your ROC. This was an insurance claim and they were highly compensated for their work.
